E uscimmo a riveder le stelle was commissioned and realized by the Bergamo-based company Mutti Marmi, with a project by designer Luca Schieppati. Their collaboration began years ago and is grounded in a shared mission of tradition and innovation, a deep respect for materials, and a constant focus on continuous improvement. The title of the installation is taken from the final verse of Dante’s Inferno, conveying a profound sense of rebirth: after darkness and disorientation, one returns to breathe in the light and contemplate the stars....
Mutti Marmi
Mutti Marmi, the commissioner and producer of the work, is a company based in Trescore Balneario, in the province of Bergamo. Founded in 1986 by Giuseppe Mutti, it is now managed by his children Massimiliano, Fabiano, and Paolo. The company specializes in the processing and trade of marble, granite, and porcelain stoneware, combining technical expertise with artistic skill, while keeping a keen eye on current trends.
Luca Schieppati
Luca Schieppati was born in Bergamo in 1979. He graduated in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano in 2005. He lives and works between Bergamo and Milan, collaborating with various companies in the design sector to define new production and product usage scenarios. Since 2007, he has collaborated with numerous schools, academies, and universities, including the Istituto Europeo di Design, teaching courses in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Start-Up Design, and Product Design.
