The Distretto Urbano del Commercio of Bergamo (DUC) is a private association founded in 2009 with the support of Regione Lombardia. It comprises the Municipality of Bergamo, the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce, trade associations Ascom, Confcommercio Bergamo, and Confesercenti Bergamo, and merchant associations representing the districts within the DUC area: Centro, Borgo Palazzo, Borgo Santa Caterina, and Città Alta.

Founded in 2011 by the central Bergamo merchants, this association promotes commercial activities, enhancing shops, products, services, and cultural or social events in the city center. Membership is open to all businesses based in the city center. Bergamo Vive embodies collaboration, teamwork, and a shared vision! Together with DUC and the Municipality of Bergamo, it works to promote the historic center through targeted initiatives and events, creating an open-air commercial center where quality, service, and professionalism merge with the beauty and richness of Bergamo’s atmosphere, humanity, picturesque corners, and historic monuments.

Azienda Trasporti Bergamo manages urban public transport in the city and 29 surrounding municipalities.
